Privacy policy — how this website handles your data.
1. Verantwortlicher / Data controller

As explained in our Impressum, The Zoomies Club is run day-to-day by a minor with full parental supervision. The parent/guardian above is the legally responsible party — the data controller under the GDPR/DSGVO — for this website.
2. The short version: what we collect (and what we don't)
This is a small static website. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies — there is no Google Analytics or similar service running anywhere on this site.
Because we don't use tracking or any non-essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is shown — none is required.
3. Contact form
When you use the contact form, we collect whatever you enter: your name, email address, your dog's name and breed (optional), your preferred dates, and your message.
That data is submitted directly to Web3Forms ( web3forms.com), a third-party form-processing service based in the United States. Web3Forms forwards your message by email to the site owner's private inbox so we can reply to you personally — we don't use this data for marketing, we don't sell it, and we don't keep it anywhere beyond that one reply email. See Web3Forms' own privacy policy for how they process form submissions on their side.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary to respond to your inquiry (steps prior to entering into a contract for dog-sitting services).
4. Fonts
This website uses the Bricolage Grotesque and Nunito typefaces. Both are self-hosted — the font files are served directly from our own server, so your browser never connects to Google Fonts (or any other third-party font provider), and no data about you is sent to Google simply by visiting this site.
5. Hosting
This website is a static site (no database, no user accounts, no server-side app) hosted by [hosting provider — to be filled in]. Your browser communicates directly with that provider's servers to load the page; standard web server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested file) may be kept briefly for security and operational purposes. See the hosting provider's own privacy policy for details.
6. Your rights / GDPR & DSGVO
Under the GDPR/DSGVO, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Delete your data (Art. 17)
- Restrict or object to processing (Art. 18, 21)
- Data portability, where applicable (Art. 20)
To exercise any of these rights, contact the responsible person listed above (hello@madebykoch.com). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the website's features or data flows change — for example, if a new contact channel or a different hosting provider is added. The version published here always reflects the current setup.
